Our apartment is located in a quiet and well-connected area of Brașov, with easy access to shops and supermarkets, the city center, and the main shopping malls. ❤️

For your everyday shopping, you have several convenient options nearby:

• 🛍️ Astra Market – ideal for fresh fruit, vegetables, and local products.
• 🛒 Kaufland Astra – Calea București 112 – a large supermarket with a wide range of products.
• 🛒 Carrefour – Calea București 107 – supermarket and other shops in the same area.
• 🛒 Lidl – Bulevardul Saturn 35A – very convenient for quick shopping.
• 🛒 Profi – Bulevardul Saturn – great for everyday essentials.

The neighborhood also has plenty of shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and other useful services, so you can easily find most things you need without having to go into the city center.

🚌 Getting to Brașov city center

There are several public transport options from the Astra/Steagu area.

🚌 Bus 6 – Saturn ↔ Livada Poștei
One of the most convenient options for reaching the city center and Livada Poștei, from where you can easily continue on foot towards the Old Town.

🚌 Bus 17 – Livada Poștei ↔ Noua
Another useful option for getting around the city and reaching the central area.

There are several bus stops in the Astra area, including Complexul Mare, Poienelor, and Pompieri, served by various RAT Brașov bus routes.

🛍️ Shopping malls

For a day of shopping, you can choose from several options:

AFI Brașov – Bd. 15 Noiembrie 78
A modern shopping mall relatively close to the city center, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and a cinema. The mall is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Coresi Shopping Resort – Str. Zaharia Stancu 1
One of the largest shopping destinations in Brașov, offering many shops, restaurants, cafés, and relaxing areas.

Carrefour / Calea București area
A convenient option for shopping, located in the same area as Kaufland and several other stores.

❤️ A little tip for exploring Brașov

If you would like to visit Council Square (Piața Sfatului), Republicii Street, the Black Church, or the Old Town, we recommend taking the bus to Livada Poștei and then exploring the historic center on foot. This is one of the nicest ways to discover the heart of Brașov. 😊
